Short back story: my DH runs a small business, where I have been working as admin support/office manager. We recently employed an admin assistant to take over this role - the business is growing, and so is this role. I've been made up to operations director - which I only really have due to being part owner of the business.
I have given it six months - it's causing problems at home between DH and I (which is a whole other thread), and I want to keep an eye out for a job that I think I'd really enjoy. I still have school-age children, one at primary and the other at secondary, so the work pattern I'm aiming for is limited.
I'm aware a good CV will help me stand out and here's where mine comes in. I haven't properly updated it in 13 years, the formatting is out of date and it doesn't really 'sell' me or my skill set. It just looks tired.
So, I wondered whether there are any websites that show examples of a great CV? I have tried a Google search and although it gives a huge list I'm not really sure where to start (it's a bit overwhelming!).
Thanks a lot
