Can someone explain how to work out annual/monthly salary when working 4 on 4 off 12 hr shift pattern?

The potential job would be £9 an hour.
I was thinking it’s 48 hours a week, so wagex48x52 but I think some weeks will work out as being 3 days? Do you still work it out the same?

I don’t know why, I just can’t get my head around it!

From your description you’ll be working 4 on 4 off so half of the year. 12 hour shifts.

So 365/2 = 183
183 x 12 x 9 = £23,607

This assumes paid holiday and flat rate of £9 per hour.

Just be careful with calculations like that would you be getting paid breaks ? As you would likely to be paid for 10.45 or 11 hours rather than 12.
