i'm applying for a reception job and my dh is under the impression that when you apply for a job you should really ask to go and have a look round before the interview, personally its not something i think is necessary for a reception job, so what do mn think?? does it put you in a better position by doing this

what?! I think that it is good to prepare but not sure you need a visit before you even know if you have an interview. Do you know much about the company - where it is, what the job entails - this is the key stuff.

I'm swatting up today, I know of the company and I've looked at the job description, I think coz my dh works for the nhs and its encouraged to look round when jobs are advertised, I will apply for it and leave it at that I think
