DS need to earn some money during the Christmas break and he's been given some leaflets to deliver for a local business.

Does anyone have any experience please of

A) how long, on average, should it take to delivery 100 leaflets to a street of 3bedoomed terraced houses?

B) What is the going rate for said leaflet delivery?

TIA

If he's young and fit, I'd hope that delivery would take less than 2 hours.

Thanks for the reply. I was just using one hundred as an example.Smile
There are over seven hundred.

Should do 100 in around an hour if it’s terraced houses.
DD1 did some leafleting for a local company and they paid by the hour rather than by numbers. They were also very good at adding a bit extra if they were happy with the response to the leaflets.
It was a good job for her as she could fit it around her other commitments.

Thanks chop chop
May I ask how much your DD was paid per hour?

I can’t remember as it was a couple of years ago. She certainly was paid at least minimum wage - maybe just a bit more.

My sister received £40 every 2 weeks for delivering 800 leaflets.

Would deliver most them over 3-4 days.

I think it would take 3 to 5 hours to give to 100 people and 100 people agreeing to take it from your DS. So, perhaps 25 to 30 GBP.
