Girl Friday - what do you think?

I live an affluent area and currently have a pet sitting business... i have recently decided to expand this into a 'errand ' running business.

I thought of this as one of my clients is away alot and that leaves just her husband at home. She was fed up of coming home at weekend to clean up his mess!
I go in once a week to tidy round. I have also in the past let in workmen for them etc.

I think there could be a market for this type of service...wealthy people who are time poor.

I could do any number of jobs, errands, services for them...

What do you think? if you had the £ would you be inclined to hire me?

Thank you

I think it's a bloody great idea and if I had the spare cash I'd employ you.

Yes definitely, particularly for older people? I know a few neighbours (it’s a close knit cul-de-sac) who are quite well off but don’t have family nearby and don’t drive. I sometimes pick up prescriptions for them, or help with paperwork etc. I also have a friend who’s a cleaner but she very often gets asked to do errands for extra money - like pick up dry cleaning, or wait in for workman etc. I think the key thing is absolute trust and word of mouth. Good luck!

I agree it's a great idea, cleaning, collecting dry cleaning, maybe taking things to the post office all the things that people with full time jobs find it difficult to manage to do! And if they have the money it sounds like a great service :) I love your idea! I hope it goes well
