Feel a bit sick...

I raised an informal grievance a few weeks ago after some very unprofessional behaviour from my line manager. This isn't a new thing - been happening for a long time.

I'm seeing my manager for the first time since then in the morning (combination of leave coinciding) and I have no clue how it's going to be at work.

I know I did. Just feel very nervous that my every move will now be scrutinised.

And so will theirs! They are the ones that should be worrying!

Just go in and get on with working.

They may not even know it was you that made the complaint and you have done nothing wrong.

Oh my manager absolutely knows.
I'll just go in and get on as usual.
Might manage a week where I don't get unduly criticised. I'm very good at my job - my colleagues have my back on this, thank goodness.

I'd check whether your company operates any form of whistleblowing policy. Within that policy should be a clause about Retaliation.

Keep a watchful eye on your LMs attitude towards you and if you get any sense they are fault-finding, setting you up to fail, etc, to get back at you, then document everything carefully and be prepared to enact the retaliation clause in the same way as you did your Grievance.
