Doctors have no recollection of my appointment

I went to the doctors on Tuesday after I found out I had a miscarriage at 5weeks. I need a confirmation note of why I was off from work. I have rang the doctors and they have evidence that I had appointment there's no notes or appointment booked!!!😤😤
What do I do now??

I would have just asked when I rang for them to do a letter or sicknote.

Email the practice manager.

Will the doctor need to see me again?? This is my first one and I don't really know what I am suppose to do?😭😭
