Holiday

I work for a company where a shift is 8.5 hours a day. On Saturdays I do 7 hours my issue is if I want to book a holiday I have to book it as a full day. Is this right? Should I be able to have it as a full day? Because it’s not really a full shift?

I work 4 x 8hr days and 5hrs (7-12) on a Friday.

If we take Friday off it is a full day holiday. It is not allowed to book a 1/2 day on a Friday.

You can ask for your holiday to be calculated in hours to be fair to everyone.
