Okay, so I'm a planner (worrier) and I'm thinking about what would be the ideal age gap between DC1 and DC1. My partner and I are due to try for our first in the next few months so I know this is a long way off my mind drifts off and I wanted to ask others experiences/opinions! Also, I would like to say that I know that it's nearly impossible to plan when to have your DC so this is (for now) only an ideal world scenario.
I'm 26 and partner is 10 years older, he wants to have kids close in age as he thinks they'll have a better bond and because his close to 40. I'm not sure how that will impact my career prospects, is it better to have to close in age i.e. under 2 year gap or a bigger gap?
