Help on disciplinary warning

Hi, I am looking for some advice for my DH. He has been made redundant after 11 years service. He has received a new job offer this week. On his work record, he has an expired final written warning- this expired about 18 months or so ago. My question is will this appear in a job reference for him?

it depends on his previous employer, as well as what his new employer asks for in a reference. He could give his old hr dept a call and ask them what they typically put in a reference?

Thanks for the response, he is still with his old employer until the end of December,-he's working a 3 month notice. I will advise him to go and see the HR director, he is on very good terms with him and he's been giving my DH advice with interviews etc..
