Can someone give me some advice please...
We had a restructure at work where we were made to reapply for roles, I was successful in a role that was similar to the one I was doing.. all great. However I have been told that I have to sign a letter of acceptance without being told my salary (which I won't get until I start the job in January)
I've also been told that although the job is not a like for like match to my role that I do now, although very similar, I will have no negotiation power over my salary as it will stay as my wage before despite not being 'mapped' across as some others were in the business.
I was under the impression that as this is a newly created role, my old salary and would then be redundant as such as my role itself is as I am signing a new contract - technically with a different company
If someone could be me some advice it would be so helpful, it doesn't even need to be legal advice but just how to play it when it comes down to communication
