I have been supporting a friend who was dismissed from work. The internal appeal process has been exhausted. The organisation friend works for refused to participate in early conciliation through ACAS. She now has a date for preliminary employment tribunal hearing. She is arguing unfair dismissal and disability discrimination.
I have helped as much as possible but i'm out of my depth with the preparation and presentation at a tribunal. I've never attended one. Friend is not working and does not have much money but i feel she needs to at least speak to an employment expert for advice and possibly representation.
Any recommendations and indication of cost would be very much appreciated.
