How much would you be happy to pay for a club/childrens activity?

Hi, I am keen to start hosting a childrens creative club, so crafting, baking etc/cooking lessons - I have a passion for the creative side of things and wondered how much parents would be willing to pay for a 2 hour session?
Would you be happy to have a free trial session and then sign up for 4-6 sessions (1 per week on a Saturday) I'm trying to work out whether its just a pipedream or could actually be profitable.

2 hours is a really long time for children to stay focussed on one activity. I'd pay up to £7 in theory but the length would put me off - I'm assuming you are perhaps looking at much older children, 8 plus maybe

I pay £8.50for an hours cooking each week in SE England. I wouldn't want to do 2hrs, it takes up too much of the day.

To be fair you need at least 1.5 hours to produce anything worthwhile baking etc. What ages are you thinking of ?

Thanks all, I appreciate any and all feedback. I was thinking 2 hours for older children and (potentially) 1-1.5 hours for younger children.
I was going to run a marketing campaign on facebook once the site is live although I definitely do not think that now is a good time to start due to it being Christmas shortly and I'm presuming everyone will want to save their pennies for that....

I would seperate cooking and crafting, great for younger ones but older ones that you are more likely to be aiming at are more likely to have an interest in one or other. Some children will like both but you would be reducing potential customers if you have someone who loves cooking but hates glitter etc

Cooking may be difficult to find premises with ovens or hobs, plus you need a lot of bowls etc so paying a fair bit out for venue/equipment/ingredients. Craft would be easier and cheaper to find venue, no real equipment, just ingredients (glitter, glue, card etc)

Oh and definitely not the right time to market it, but January is the WORST month to do it as everyone is skint after Christmas and children may have just received craft/cooking kits anyway that parents would probably use up before paying for the activity

I would maybe do the free class the weekend before Valentines Day and do a themed session, I think that would get you the most interest
