applying for a role after time as a stay at home mum

Hello

I am applying for a role on a committee. I am a stay at home mum and have been since my first son was born in 2010. Most of my examples of work experiences are 7 years+ ago. A lot of the relevant examples are from my second to last role in employment, so 10 years+ ago. Can you advise me on how best to word these descriptions? Especially as the form does not actually ask for my employment history so I don't know how to explain why the examples are old.

TIA.

Whatis the committee?

It's with a national body in the sector I worked in for the 6 years up to 2007.

Do you need to explain why your examples are old? Or even that they are old?

Just because they're not recent doesn't mean you're not still skilled.

I didn't think of it like that, that's reassuring. I've not applied for anything like this since I left work so it's daunting. It's not quite a return to work but this could be a step in that direction for me. Thank you.
