Would you have any tips on the best way to get on in this industry?
I do not want to do home visits type job. So it has to be residential.
I have started at a small one for a few hours initially. Done a few shifts but management is not very good and I have no contract .
In fact money has never been discussed and I suspect my induction
may be unpaid (to cover the DBS) . The care standard does seem to be good though and other staff are friendly/helpful.
