It was understood by most that I was top of the list for promotion this year but it didn’t happen.
I feel it was because of a monster of a man who somehow is part of senior management that I don’t particularly get along with (nor do many others)...
I ticked all the boxes, am high profile within my dept but he made excuses for reasons that I did I make it.
His opinion counts and therefore it feels that I can’t progress in the co. What to do?
I kicked up a fuss and it’s clear the head of dept wants to retain me so I maybe able to negotiate a pay rise...
