Maternity allowance/pay Help please

Can anyone help.
I currently have 2 jobs.
First job self employed -been there since beginning of July and registered as self employed with inland revenue.
2nd job causal empoyer work as and when they need me and pay NI.
I earn more from my self employed job. Am I entitled to Maternity allowance because of the self employment job or does being employed by the second company affect my rights? I don't want to claim SMP through second employer as I don't earn enough money through them.
Can anyone please help?
Many thanks

Hi, no you can claim solely on the basis of your self employment. Essentially they just need to ensure you have paid enough Ni. I was self employed and had a small paid employment as well, but not enough for SMP. When I completed the claim I put all my details in, and it came back fine.
