Hi there, I started a new job in November and an enhanced dbs was requested which came back clear. In august I moved in to a different role as was being managed very badly and it was triggering.
I'll explain, for five years I was in a domestically abusive relationship. I have two harassment notices against my former partner as she has stalked me for the last six plus years. She phoned my employer (following a Google search) and told them I'd been convicted of grooming.
In 2011 I attended a voluntary interview with police over alleged messages on Facebook. I had not had the conversation but also said I believed no one had access to my password. I was in the abusive relationship at the time and thus my then partner was exempt from my answer here. I believe she may have had the conversation in guise of accusing me of cheating. She would regularly create dating profiles for me or type messages on my phone to then accuse me of this.
Anyhow she had phoned my employers who have suspended me for not declaring despite my Enhanced dbs being clear.
I am increasingly confused at what I am actually defending myself against as I any prove I was not responsible for the 2011 alleged conversation nor can I prove that my then partner was. I know it wasn't me. Shortly after the incident I met my now girlfriend who I've been with for over six years. She's been awesome throughout my ex's stalking but when will it end?
I'm not sure I want my job back following this but do worry about how to live my life.
My employers have spoken to the police who have shared information and also on a fixed penalty notice that I received in 2007 on a particularly traumatic day in that former relationship.
