Agency worker cancelling shift

How much notice should you give an agency if you need to cancel a shift? Am I giving enough notice by cancelling a Friday late shift and Saturday late shift today? I'm having a bit of a nightmare with childcare. Thanks

What does your co tract with the agency say? I think since they're an agency they will be able to place someone else instead of you.
