I have an interview for an internal HR position, mid level administration essentially and I know that the interview will be competency based. Now I understand that I need to give my answers based on the STAR framework but I just cannot think of really good stand out examples. They all seem so regular and run of the mill. I can demonstrate experience of most of them but I can't imagine any interviewer being blown away by all of my answers. My current/previous roles haven't really had any extremes of any situation. No real conflict to deal with / teamwork yes of course but that's just part off my job.
Help! how 'great' do my examples need to be? Feel like I'm really going to let myself down.
