Commission only

I've just started a temp job which is ongoing

As I had applied for loads jobs before I got this one I am still getting responses

As much as the temp job I've started is fine, I have no idea if it will turn perm.

Anyway got an email today saying I got an interview for a job I really liked the sound of BUT it's commission only

Can someone tell me if it's worth still having the interview ?

I want to and the job is work from home - sales job and something as I say I was really interested in and never thought I would get an interview as it's selling horse riding holidays ( love horses )

Any help would be fab

Thanks

Commission only is fine as long as you don't need a steady, guaranteed income, and you're confident in your abilities to sell the product.
Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I've been in Sales for many years and I have never worked commission only and never would unless I was desperate ( which I have never been)
However, if you aren't turning something else down to do it and it's something you really want to do and can make money from then why not?
I would give yourself a time limit though to make some money before cutting your losses

Thanks peeps

Yeah I was dubious about taking a commission only

Maybe good if I didn't rely on the source of income

Think I'll stick to this temp job as I do like it
