Business insurance

Hi almost 3 years ago my business insurance was withdrawn from me. I started my limited company with some simple consulting work and was insured for that. I took more advanced projects my insurance did not provide cover for these activities so they withdrew it when I made some inquiries about some of my potential work.
I had some terrible experiences personally at that time. I did not question this or protest it in any way. I just put my company on hold so I can deal with my personal issues. Now I am about to take my company off the back burner and ready to fire it up. Do I need to disclose this to my potential insurer? Is this going to prevent me from getting cover?

Don't know, but I get my insurance from Simply Business.

I eventually got to grips with the concept that there is a difference between your home insurance covering business work in the home - so it includes my high quality printer, for example, and public liability for when clients visit me here, but professional indemnity insurance is a different thing. I use www.HomeProtect.co.uk for my home insurance - having just renewed it, you only need to tick the box for home business use.
