Does anyone know if having 'stress' on a sick line will affect future employment opportunities? Many thanks.

I don't think a prospective employer is entitled to get details of your sickness record. (Not an expert though.)

Recruiters are not entitled to see sickness records during the recruitment process. They can ask about past absences / attendance during the reference process, but whether your employer is willing to do anything more than a basic "employee worked from x date to y date as a customer service associate" is down to their reference policy.

I would not worry about it, if you have done well at interview stage they will hopefully accept everyone gets sick from time to time.

We check during reference stage and can then refer to occupational health. I don't think it affects your ability to be employed in new job no.
