Does anyone have any good interview tips?

Something to say or do that'll really catch the interviewers eye and remember you?

I'm trying to get a new position within my local NHS hospital as my current hospital of work is too far away Sad It's a ridiculous commute and incredibly pricey.

I'm a Medical Secretary. I have an interview on Friday and the job matches me perfectly. I'm desperate for it!

I'm incredibly professional and seem to answer questions really well, but so far no luck and I've had about 5 previous interviews for different roles at this hospital.

Would anyone like to share any tips?

I'm always giving eye contact, answering clearly and with relevant examples etc. I even take the time to ask a question at the end to show I'm interested in that particular department etc.

Many thanks Flowers

what makes you different from every other candidate? try to slip this into your answers or why you want the job.

Bring some examples of your work, this is particularly good for showing you are not exaggerating how good you are, plus helps them remember you.

The Interview Expert - How To Get The Job You Want by John Lees is a brilliant book and well worth shelling out a tenner for. I found it really useful in helping me navigate the interview process.

Good luck!
