Going to work issues..

Hi all,

I am not sure where to start..

I am a mother of 2 young girls.
I came back to work after my Maternity Leave 2 months ago and unfortunately I had to go for part time contract (from full time).

The problem is that I do spend so much money for my baby girl childcare and I don't earn much... well I will be honest. I earn nothing really. Due to the childcare costs I am actually loosing.

And that is where my frustration came in.
I want to work.. but after all my calculations I think I would be better off work just for 1 year until my baby is 2yrs old.

Any advice what should I do next?
It would be so appreciated.

As I don't want to be treated as a lazy person.. but the situation takes over and sometimes there is not much choice. And going to work is to earn something not to loose.

Thanks.

Tread carefully. This board is inundated with posts by women (myself included) struggling to get a decent job, or any job at all, after a career break.

Ooh dear I feel like I am really trapped. As honestly I do struggle at the moment and was thinking of having 1 year break.

I did not think of having strughle to find a job after that bteak.
