Give me your best options

My two children are now settled at school/term time nursery so for the first time in 3+ years I'm looking for more permanent work. However it ideally needs to fit in with school terms and hours as I'd rather not call upon additional childcare options.

I've considered VA to work, although I'm unsure if I've missed the boat on this. Would temping work for me at all? I assume part time temp roles are few and far between.

I've already had an interview for some school admin work, and currently do some flexible/casual work in a school as an invigilator. I just want to ensure that I'm exploring all avenues - our money is tight and I'm feeling as though I could contribute more now....

I've no idea of what your best options are but I'm currently looking for help with freelance charity work that I do, mainly grants fundraising & admin.

I literally said to my DP this afternoon "what I could really do with is a mum who is going back to work & looking for flexible hours they can fit in from home. Someone who has professional experience so they'd be reliable as I don't want to have to train a young intern who couldn't care less about doing a good job (unfair generalisation i know!). Someone who would like to start with a few hours a day or just a day or two a week now but who would maybe want to help build up the business with me in future".

Ha maybe we could help each other?!
