need help with working out pay

I have an interview for a job next week and was hoping that someone good with numbers could help me work out the pay. The job is advertised as £26,000 pro rata but it is a 0.6 teaching job (will be required to work 22 hours per week) and it is term time only (40 weeks). I have just been trying to work out what this means weekly or monthly. It's probably really simple but I have only ever worked full time and am a bit confused. Thanks in advance.

26000 pro rata as in 26000 is the full time salary.

26000 x 0.6 = 15600 per full year

15600 / 52 = 300 per week

40 x 300 = 12000 per year.

You will also need holiday pay added but without knowing the holiday allowance I can't calculate it.

Your monthly amount will depend on if they split your TT amount over 12 months of just the months you're paid but I'd guess the former and therefore £1000 per month.
