Jobsites - do you trust them?

I'm coming to the end of my maternity leave and so I'm looking to go back to work. I found one of those job sites called DYWAJ, has anyone tried it? It looks really good but I don't know if I trust them!

Jobsites like Indeed and Fish4Jobs can be ok but you do need to sift through a few scams and recruitment agencies.

I think Indeed is the best one in terms of trustworthiness in that most jobs seem to be direct employers, but God knows there is a lot of low paid shit out there. I don't rate Universal Jobmatch personally.

Indeed is the only generic one I'd recommend. Sector 1 if you're looking for council/NHS roles.

Indeed is better than the job centre one. Don't rate any others I've tried

Just be prepared to have your cv data mined and end up on cv websites you've never heard of. Albeit British based.

Also they will also lob any old sh*t at you. I work as a Personal Assistant so they just see the word assistant and I'm being sent all sorts of care assistant roles. No problem with that, it's just not my skill set. Don't forget a lot of these data bases are only computers.

My husband gets vacancies totally unrelated to his job search too. It's almost comical.

I did get my first job on returning from overseas from one of them though. Albeit it was an agency who wanted my skills. The job didn't last as the company was more interested in getting pre-Christmas rush orders out than training a new member of staff but hey.

My most recent job came from one as well. I wasn't satisfied with the service I got from that (fly by night dodgy as fuck) agency even though I liked the job and the organisation was on the level so I took the unusual step of transferring to another agency who already supplied staff to the same organisation.
