I was interviewed and offered an internal position in my company, but I have already handed in my notice at my current role. Will this matter? I still have a bank contract with the company (nhs), thanks

Presumably you have written to HR and confirmed that as you've been offered this other position you are withdrawing your notice? I'm assuming your termination process has already started. Are you concerned because you haven't heard back?

I dont know how it will work, it only happened yesterday, whether I need to withdraw the notice or not? I've spoken to HR and my manager and neither think it will be an issue, Thanks for replying, I'm just worried that if I withdraw the notice my current post won't release me until they want to and it could be longer than the remainder of my notice.
