You already started a thread on this earlier today, surely? I should look at the thread that someone directed you to before. It's here .

Hi, I have a dd (she'll be 4 next month), she started full time nursery at 6 months of age, my sister has a daughter who is 5 and has been in school 1 year. The difference between my daughter and hers is so very different. My DD shares her toys and offers to let my niece play with her bike/scooter but my niece has to be told to hand it back (just 1 example of things that happen), my DD is laid back and finds it very easy to make friends, she's good at meal times too and I really do think that she benefitted from being at Nursery, but so did I, I went back to work to adult conversation, things like that. On the downside, I wanted to do potty training, I wanted to be there when she said her 1st words, she started walking when we were on holiday, but you learn that you can't be around all the time for everything. My dd can't wait to start school in Sept, and I have a feeling that it will be me crying at the school gate and not her.

Sorry I forgot to mention that my DN didn't go to nursery, my sister picked up on this and when she had her DS, he went to nursery 2 mornings a week and he is 3.5 years old now and almost at the same level of communication etc as his sister,
