Thinking about becoming a swimming teacher

I'm worried about the cost of it. With all the courses and training I would need it would cost me about £600. Which is ok but I'm worried it would take me years to earn that much back!
Plus how easy is it to get jobs? Are they family friendly, as in can i fit them in around my young family ok?
Any info would be great!

Surely most swimming lessons are after school or at weekends. Only pre school classes are during school hours

I am not sure about how you negotiate pool use, but what about offering intensive or 1:1 courses. I don't know what the going rate is, but you need to think about what you need to earn per hour to make it worth your while (factor in expenses like training and insurance, and admin time and advertising).
