Probably a long shot - has anyone taken an exam to become an ambulance technician?

I have a friend doing this at the weekend and he's very nervous about it!

Just wondering what's involved

My sister has taken it. It's apparantly not so bad. She passed and she left school with only a few GCSEs if it's any consolation. I think it's fairly basic.

He's over 20 years out of school. Made redundant last year. I really hope he does well!

I did one but it was 6 years ago. was a written tes, practical role play ( I kept laughing ) .If you passed those you did a drivng test then the best 15 went to interview.I was between 15 and 40 but was about 200 peopl applying originally so not that bad!
