Hi I wonder if anyone can help me
I have two questions, sorry if that is greedy. lol
I used to work for a travel company and would love to do this from home, however I am finding that you have to have 2 out of 5 years abta which unfortuantley with me taking a break to have a family, I just fall short, does anyone know of a company that will bend the rules, or is there any courses that I can do that will help with abta or do I have to do the full course.
(that was all one question he he by the way)
My next question is the course that I have seen is online and is about £500 as the goverment seem to be on a recruitment drive for mums at the mo is there any help available with the course fees, ps I am only on child benefit/tax.
Any help would be very much appreciated
thanks

She is off on holiday today I think!!!

julie4travel · 26/06/2007 15:56

hi havent quite left yet email me on [email protected]

julie4travel · 26/06/2007 16:55

just a brief summery future travel were great to work for i only left as i was given a guaranteed homeworking salary which is rare in homeworking. they had exclusive offers other agents couldnt touch in price
internet calls with any comapny an be disheartening at times when you get call after call for the same unavailable holiday. it was a bit of grim and bear it for 18 months until your database is built to come off internet calls. i was only with future as a personal travel advisor and my clients came to me for service etc

i can email you further when i am back from holidays, go and meet them see what you think. you can takeyour time choosing the company, i cant say many negative things about them as they were good for me and i would consider working for them again if my guaranteed income stops with my currect homeworking company

u can earn a lot if you put in the hours
some months you could get low pay at £200 normally dec time yet other months compensate it so i normally put extra aside when i am on commission only for these times

its great having the flexibility, i am always there for the kids before and after school etc and have looked at alternative jobs and no other seems to have as much flexibility

Ah thanks everyone, you are all stars
Julie I will try and email you, but will probably speak to when you get back.
Have a good time
