Freelance designer - where to start

Hoping someone can come along with a bit of advice!

I'm a senior graphic designer and have worked for both in house teams and creative agencies on a number of high profile campaigns and branding projects.

I now want to move on to becoming a freelancer to expand my creative scope and was wondering if there are any other designers on here who have done a similar thing, and how you started off?

I've got a website and brand, and have worked on a number of start up projects but not sure where to go from here.
