Hi thanks in advance for any advice!!
Im.currently 26 weeks pregnant with secind baby and i work 30 hours term time only in a nursery. Now spd hit me bad on monday where i could hardly walk, doctors signed me off work until 10th july, but said to just go to the desk if i need another one after that. I finish on 21st july for 6 weeks holidays and start mat leave 4th september. If needed and i get a sick note until 21st july will work pay me during the holidays my normal pay or continue paying me sick pay? Managers are not very nice or supportive. I have said if i can be office based for a while i.e doing obs and summaries for the preschool children but they said no. I cant exactly walk properly let alone be second member of staff in a room of 18 preschool children. Any advice would be great. Thankyou x

Does your sickness absence policy not cover this issue? I would expect it to in an environment with lots of term time staff.
