Made redundant twice in last 15 months...

Just that really. Last time was a big shock but got another job right away. This time I have been so demotivated with job searching and applications.
Feel so numb... And self confidence had been knocked.
Job ends this Friday & I've decided to take a few weeks to find something new. I'm keen to do something less stressful-I'm a single parent & a bit burned out so think this is sensible.
Any advice on getting my arse in gear and getting confidence levels up again?
Thanks

Flowers no advice, but best wishes.

Sorry to hear this. It's never nice to be made redundant when it wasn't voluntary.

Depending on the field you work in can you meet with some agencies who can then do some of the work for you ? That way you only have to gear yourself to meeting with one person and then build from there.

Thanks both
Thinking of a change of direction...
Just can't get stuck into the application forms! So laborious 😱

Flowers you have done brilliantly before. We've all been there. In the ancient, tory, depression ridden1980s I applied for 100 jobs ( by hand!) to get my first professional post. All power to you.

Thanks woman12345
Let's hope that in modern, Tory, depression ridden 2017 that I can do the same!
