Help - how to cope til I can leave

I have decided I am leaving my job, and am looking for strategies to cope with my manager until I find another job to move to.

My boss is an unpleasant man, spiteful and sly, and the person I am subjected to is not the person others see, and I have had enough of the bullying. I am put down and patronised, lied to and disrespected, told what my limitations are and that he never wanted me working for him in the first place. I often get an aggressive response when I challenge what he is asking or talking about, and he thinks nothing of asking questions about my personal life. He has a flippant attitude toward me when I ask for support. My self esteem and self worth are at an all time low.
I have raised the issues of his attitude and behaviour on numerous occasions over the time I have worked for him to the site manager and HR, and things always go back to how they are now so I am actively job searching. Unfortunately I am unable to report to another manager.

I need to be able to manage him when he comes at me. For the most part I try hard not to engage in conversation with him but this does not always work. I am prepared for the backlash from him as I want to reply to personal questions with "how does this relate to my work" or something similar, and I hope for my mindset of looking elsewhere for work will help me cope as this is now a temporary situation.

Senior management are aware how unhappy I am however I don't believe anything can be done to change the situation I am in, and my manager does not think he is doing anything wrong.

Would love to chat about this, thanks in advance for your time.
