Exceeded time limit on Situational Judgement Test - Fail?

:(
I just took a SJT for an application (probation service) and exceeded the time limit (I had a couple more questions to go.
Does this mean it's an automatic fail and the application process stops here?

Normally depends on your score and whether you'd already reached the threshold.

MyMorningHasBroken · 14/06/2017 21:06

Would I still get a score though TheNoseyProject even if I exceeded the limit?
It just says 'Time Limit Exceeded' next to it.

Not familiar with the probation service recruitment process, but normally the unanswered questions would count as "wrong" rather than an automatic fail.

So if there were 25 questions and you skipped 3, the maximum you could hope to score would be 88%. In my field we use centiles vs the test cohort (peers) so it's a shifting pass mark anyway.

Thanks High,. I guess there is some hope. :)

Hi there,

The same thing just happened to me. Old laptop that kept freezing. I was just wondering if you had an update? Were the answers you gave submitted? I was only one question from the end. All it said was 'time limit exceeded', no indication as to whether it's an automatic fail or if my answers were even accepted.

Any info you have would be great.

Thanks

Hi, does anyone have an update on this, the same thing just happened to me, I went back to check my answers and then didn't click finish and it just says 'time limit exceeded', does this mean I've failed?

gemmalou93 · 27/01/2018 20:13

Hi the same thing has happened to me also, i have just finished all the scenarios got to end page but went back to review my answers when the time limit exceeded. Does this mean my answers have been submitted as they are or will this be an auto fail?

Could someone please update
thanks

Hi kwils81, MyMorningHasBroken, gemmalou93 etc

Could you tell me how things worked out after exceeding the time. Did they immediately mark you as failed?

Thank you
