Stat mat pay

Hi, hoping you can help. I had been living and working in Ireland for the last year and a bit and moved back to London last Dec. I have done a bit of temp work since getting back but not enough to get smp from my employer. Am I entitled to claim for Stat mat from the government?

I think you can claim governmental maternity allowance (about 108 pounds per week) but you need to provide the appropriate information to the right people - You need to check the new regulations coming into force after April 1st. The Department of Work and Pensions as well as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) give online information.
