Does anybody sell their products through a shop?

I have a small skincare business. I would like to approach some shops to sell my products through them. Has anybody else done this? I am wondering how it all works... how many items the shops usually take, do they pay in advance, etc.

It would be really helpful to at least give the impression that I know what I'm talking about before I approach them.

Thanks.

I haven't but was told for clothing items shops expect to buy from you at 33% (at most) of RRP. I could imagine skincare might be the same margin? Is that affordable to you?

Shops will either buy from you at similar rates described above, or use SoR. They usually prefer sale or return because it involves less financiAl risk on their part, they still get a good cut. Basically before considering using shops you need to know what your wholesale prices are and what YOUR minimum order is etc
