I am off to my first proper job interview in about 8 years on Tuesday, and prior to this I've only had 1. I've been out of the workplace for almost 18 months and this is my first attempt back in.
I have NO idea what to wear.
I'm really uncomfortable in skirts and dresses, and it shows, so I don't ever wear them. I've also piled on the weight so am totally unsure how to dress for my shape now.
I think it's probably a smart casual affair, rather than full-on business wear. It's a sales role for a hipster foodie company in central London (I dealt with them in my previous role so am familiar with their ethos)
Do you think I can get away with black trousers, blazer and a relatively casual top underneath? I will have to wear casual, relatively comfy shoes due to joint issues.
I'm an un-curvy 16 at 5'5''. Straight up and down rectangular
Also 32 years old but babyfaced in the extreme.
I really can't dress myself at the least stressful times, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
