Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right group for my question.

My 17yr old son is interested in modelling, I've been approached by LFM who want us to do an initial trial shoot this weekend, but I'm not sure if they are legit.. how can I find a reputable company?

Reputable model agencies take nothing more than a simple polaroid. I worked in the industry in the late 90s and early 2000s and have friends who still model.

All this "Doing a shoot" and "Trial shoot" is crap OP.

A good agency does not ask for money or test shoots. Once they take a model on, then they send them off for go sees to see if they get the job.

That's all.

What city do you live in?

Above is an example of a reputable model agency and how to apply.

Thanks for your reply. I must admit I have the attitude that if anyone wants him then they will make the effort.. rather than him paying to be wanted (or me paying as I'm the mum)..

Thanks for the link, I'll have a look 😊
