Sick leave entitlement part-time term time

I work term time, mornings only in a school. I have been there 18 months.

Do I have any entitlement to sick leave?

If I took a day off sick would I not get paid? Is that right?

Your sick pay entitlement should be in your contract.

I have looked. No it's not.

When I was a school governor about 5/6 years ago there was discussion about changing all the non teaching staff to statutory sick pay only. You might not have any other entitlement.

Are you on Green Book terms? That's easily look-up-able if you are. Absence policy for the school? You will have something somewhere which tells you your sick pay entitlement.
