Hello - my sister is one and comepletely changed career at 26 as she thought her nanny carrer would take her into her 60's!
It took about 2 years of training whilst she was working too as a nanny still but has now got a franchise locally to her which she pays £185/week for. BSM and RAC etc are a lot more per week. The training was good fun she thought and she earns (when she has full books) about £20000 year. She has lots of female clients as they really want to learn with a woman instructor rather than a bloke. She thinks it's a very satisfying job and has only had one weirdo the other week - he asked her if anyone had ever tried to drive into a lorry with her instructing and then proceeded to tell her he had psycological (sp) problems! Apparently he was only joking and apologised. She thought it was funny and didn't take him seriously but I think she should have crossed him off her books straight away!!!

Thanks - that's realy interesting - i have just been looking at BSM and AA websites - can't see how much the training costs though.

Looks like it could be something I could do !

Hi Tarapt - forgot to say she went to the local college for driving instructors and the whole course cost about 2 grand I think.
