Can I do this from home?

I am wanting to start my own buissness with my sister to do cosmetic treatments, (fillers and Botox, we are both nurses and doing our training) i am toying with doing a home office/ summer house and doing it from home. Would this be permittable? Do I need to put a request in to the local council or something? Thanks for any help and advise in advance.

I would expect so but I'm not sure. Only think so because we've just built a shed aka garden room and when we were researching planning permission regs etc I remember seeing something about it being for business purposes needed declaring. Our local council had a specific phone number for building regs to call. Didn't have to give our details just asked the questions we needed answering. Good luck!
