I have worked for 20 years in a profession that has paid quite well. I am currently retraining in a completely different profession, which will pay nowhereh near as much. I still work full time. The thing is that the 'crunch' is about to happen. I need to reduce my full time employment to part time as the new profession will need me to complete hours on the job in order to get to the next part of the qualificiation and it will significantly reduce my income. I feel unable to talk to my husband about my worries and fears. I feel stuck. Scared to move forwards. My current employer will accept I want to reduce my hours as they'll save on my salary. Help?
