When did you know you were ready?

Hi
Basically I'm wondering how you all knew you were ready to return to work?
My baby is now coming up 11 months.
I don't currently have a job to go back to so I'm not under too much pressure and my husbands wage covers things but we'd like to buy a house and obviously two wages are better than one.
I just think I want to go out and work (part time) and earn some money but I just don't think I'm ready to commit to something like that yet.

Thanks in advance :)

When I stopped panicking about it. I had to quit my full time job. It just didn't seem right. Also, the idea of only seeing my baby for two hours or so a day during the week seemed pointless.

Thank you for your reply Newmother looks like I'm never going back to work then 😂

I definitely agree with you there! I went to work when my eldest (now 4) was just under 6 months and even though it was only part time I ended up leaving there. Started another job a few months later and after a year and a bit I left there as well. I obviously wasn't as ready as I thought I was! And I definitely don't want that happening again!
