Looking for terrible boss stories....

Hi all, I'm starting a Twitter account to share pretty awful stories about terrible bosses...partially just for fun but also about moral support. I've had some tough times in the past and thought I'd share.

If you have any stories I can share on Twitter (all anonymous of course) please let me know. Some of my examples are below :)

Boss asked me to cancel honeymoon, then on the Monday told me it was "all sorted" holiday cancelled and I was already at my desk

Anonymous staff survey someone said bully in office, boss brings everyone together and shout says he'll flush bully out...I wrote the feedback, he was the bully

TerribleBoss showed me where she had her Botox injected in her bum, she wasn't wearing knickers 🙈

At the risk of sounding like a killjoy, slagging off "the boss" on Twitter is pretty juvenile and pointless. I can think of better ways of spending time.

My boss once told my colleague (who is registered disabled due to a large number of disabilities) that he didn't think he was disabled.

Um, be careful. Best check your company's policy on social media posts first? Even if you're not posting about your current employer, it might not be viewed terribly positively.

I had a very mixed bag of managers while temping in my 20s. Some make for excellent night out stories "do you remember the one who..?" but I wouldn't post them on any public forum - you're never quite as anonymous as you think you are!

Don't post anything on social media that you would not put on a notice board in your workplace.

Bear in mind if you post something on social media, it may be about a previous boss from years ago, and they may have been absolutely horrendous, but it says more about you than them if you post derogatory things when the person isn't there to give their story. It could be perceived as a cowardly act.

Why would someone have botox in their bum, unless it was to relieve cerebral palsy spasms?

Totally against my company policy to write anything about work or bosses or product or anything on social media, on pain of death, or loss of job. I work for a well known utility provider and can't even be rude about them when friends slag the company off on FB.
