After working for a company for a year is it reasonable to ask for some kind of review, sit-in with my manager? Just really to make sure they are happy with my work, discuss anything that might be niggling either of us that perhaps wouldn't be seen as a big enough problem to make a fuss about on a day to day basis or whatever. Would it also be reasonable to request the outcome in writing?
I ask because a: after taking my last company to court for unfair dismissal (although i won), i would feel more comfortable knowing i'm covering my back.
b: i have some small issues that i want to sort out without "rocking the boat" (hence the name) and feel that this might be the ideal way to bring them up without, quite simply, looking like a tell tale twit.
Although our branch is small, its quite a large company who do seem to have strict proceedures and policies about most things.
