I interviewed for a post yesterday, they were interviewing for my level role in the morning then in the afternoon they were going to be appointing to my line manager post.
I was happy with my performance in the interview but when I asked about when they were hoping to appoint they said that asap subject to the successful candidates notice. The panel then went on to say that they'd like the junior post candidate to meet for an informal chat with the successful line manager but they didn't clarify whether it would be only the successful junior candidate or all candidates.
I'm really enthusiastic about the post and hope I'm under consideration but I feel a bit confused about the process from here. I'm also doing the anxious rerun of the interview in my head!
